Latest reviews of World War II Magazine: Digital Edition app for iPhone and iPad
So happy to finally see this magazine on iPad. It is a great layout formatted specifically for the iPad. Hopefully we will see more interactive features and imbedded videos in future issues. Great magazine.
New issue wont download was charge and still wont download.
Still a great mag in format and content but needs to be fixed so April issue works for subscribers.
I just contacted HistoryNet and spoke to a pleasant rep who was very apologetic regarding the latest issue not downloading and causing the app to crash. She said she would notify the IT team first thing tomorrow morning so that they can address the problem asap. Apparently, nobody has yet contacted HistoryNet directly about this problem until now, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
The app freezes in a white screen when downloading April issue. Other issues download fine. But April issue crashes the system so have to exit app, delete, reload from App Store, then reload all previous editions, then dont go to April again or will repeat all above again. addendum: I spoke with Rep in February, several times, about failure of app to load April issue. Said were working on it.
